Hardwood flooring throughout; with original refinished wood flooring from the ‘50s in bedrooms and living area! Take sunset, sunrise or moonrise walks along Anahola Bay and you may even find a glass ball! Whales can be seen off shore from November through the month of April. Swim, snorkel or surf to your heart's content from this cozy beach cottage with large private yard. Pick plumeria (frangipani) flowers from the back yard and make your own lei (flower garland). Kalalea Mountain (featured in the movie Raiders of the Lost Ark) views from kitchen and dining area. Enclosed downstairs shower is great for cleaning up after the beach. Gas BBQ grill, beach chairs, cooler, beach umbrella and beach towels provided.
Kauai Vacation Rental on Hibiscus Hula Beach is located on Aliomanu Road, in Anahola on a quiet dead end road. Just across the road is a great beach for swimming, snorkeling, shell-combing or just sunbathing. Hibiscus Hula Cottage is only thirty minutes from the Lihue Airport & ten minutes to Kapa'a town to the east. Head north from Hibiscus Hula Cottage to Kilauea Lighthouse, Anini Beach, Hanalei Bay or lush Haena without driving though one traffic light! Heading south passing back through Kapaa town will take you to the many restaurants, boutiques and grocery stores located in Kapaa. Lydgate Beach Park, Wailua Fern Grotto are some of the many attractions in Kapaa. Head south back towards Lihue town towards Poipu Beach and the Waimea Canyon additional sightseeing experiences.
