Kaha Lani Resort #326, Oceanfront, Top Floor

We had the most amazing stay here. The apartment had everything we needed. The bed was so comfy. Plenty of room for a family of four and very peaceful.
My only criticism would be the very unhelpful lady at the apartment reception. We were very keen to play tennis however one of the owners kept keeping hold of the key over night stopping other people using the court. The lady refused to do anything about it and was extremely rude to us after we complained to garden island properties (who dealt with the issue very promptly).
We would definitely stay here again and would recommend to everyone.

We loved this property. We were just steps away from a secluded beach which we enjoyed everyday of our stay. The pool was very nice but we opted for the beach each day. The unit does not have air conditioning but we had a constant breeze blowing through the condo day and night which kept us very comfortable. It is a third floor unit so its a pretty good climb to get you luggage up the steps but once you are settled in the steps are not an issue {about 21 stair steps} There are plenty of food choices within minutes. We would return to this unit if our travels takes us back.

This updated one bedroom condo had the best ocean view. Our condo was well equipped with all the necessities to make our stay comfortable, it was also well equipped with beach equipment. We did lose hot water, but maintenance had it fixed right away. My only suggestions would be to hire a window cleaner so that we can enjoy the views through the windows and to add a guestbook and literature on activities around the island. Would definitely stay here again, regardless.

Aloha! Our condo was perfect for the quiet vacation spot we wanted. Great access to north and south shores and easy access to Lydgate Park facilities. Condo had everything we needed for our stay. Would highly recommend this property. Great communication with property manager as well. Love this island and it’s people!

It was recommended we stay here by friends. It was more secluded & away from torist crowds but good central location to get to reach both sides of island & many close shoppes & restaurants. Not luxurious but accomodated all our needs. We wanted a kitchen & this one was well equipped. A word of caution, just because dishes had been put away, I would rewash before use. Was not fond of the scratched teflon pans but otherwise plenty of cookware & storage containers. Fairly clean but I wiped up a spot off the floor when we arrived & paper towel was pretty dirty. I think it's a pretty superficial clean between guests. Humidity & salt water is rough on aa property but this one needed a deep cleaning. Bathrooms were clean. Laundry services worked, grills didn't. All that being said, I would stay at this vacation rental again. Choose 2nd or 3rd floor for best view.

We stayed in unit 326. It had a beautiful view of the ocean and cool ocean breeze keeping the unit very comfortable without air conditioning. The unit was clean and well stocked with most things that were needed. However we didn't do much cooking, since we really enjoyed the nice variety of local foods in Kapaa and Lihue, both just a few minutes drive away. Items that we found most useful were the large beach umbrella and small cooler. We were impressed at how well the property and grounds were maintained during our week-long stay. We did several sightseeing ventures around the island, but our favorite things to do were long walks and swimming on the endless sand beach just outside the unit.

The property was exactly as pictured. Great central location. Even had some spices for a bit of cooking we did. Our only complaint was that the mattress was too firm and they had very squishy pillows. The day we arrived we had 4 electrical outlets that weren't working but they got someone over within a couple of hours to fix it. That was nice considering it was very late afternoon.

The condo was well maintained and clean. The patio was amazing and nothing beats the ocean view! The kitchen was a bit dated; however, it was well appointed for a rental. There were also spices and other basic kitchen supplies which made cooking easy. The pool was lovely and the walkway along the ocean was really nice. The property manager was outstanding! We couldn’t find cutting boards and a coffee grinder. We contacted the property manager and they brought us both the following day. We have rented through VRBO many times and this was the best experience with a property management company. We would definitely rent from them again.

First, the location is superb. To the south you have 2+ miles of deserted beach; to the north Lygate Park. Complex is well maintained, clean, quiet, etc. Unit is well equipped, kitchen, beach equipment, bathrooms. Would have liked and extra set of sheets to change mid week - laundered. Good launching pad for access to the rest of the island, and Missing Kapaa traffic (bypass). Have stayed around Kapaa before and would stay here again. Did not need A/C this time of year - could be different in summer. But it did make the complex very quiet without the A/C’s running in every unit.

Had a great time at this beautiful condo with my family. The place was very tidy when we checked in, and most appliances were in good working condition (including the kitchen). The condo was fully stocked with towels, beach chairs, umbrellas and kitchen utensils. The condo has an absolutely stunning view of sunrise at the ocean, something that I craved to wake up to every morning. The only small inconveniences were (1) laundry room far away from condo, (2) living room flooring was a bit rough. Otherwise the condo is a fantastic place for a short stay of 2-3 days.

Spent two weeks, great view but the substantial railing is at eye level when seated on the balcony blocking the view of the ocean. neighbors had a bistro height table and chairs we would have loved. Kitchen reasonably stocked just had to get a few things, s&p, ziplocks etc. good bed but old pilled sheets. Lots of sporting gear in the closet, good iron and board. Small TV but we didn’t use it much anyway. Had to buy a clock for the bedroom. Quiet end of resort, a little of a hike to the pool but worth it for the quiet (besides the roosters at anytime of day or night). We would go again, overall loved it, would like to contact owner and skip exorbitant vrbo fees.

I had the most delightful stay at this property. The view was outstanding. Communication with the Garden Island Properties group is an example to others! I travel a lot. I appreciated their attention to detail and care for my experience. The Condo was well equipped- more than expected! This is a great choice for accommodations. And I plan to return. Thank you for everything!

Overall the condo was very nice. Just a couple of recommendations: I would recommend a new mattress as well sheets (they appeared to be bleach stained). Lastly, pillowcases for the extra pillows.

We really liked the location of this rental. Great views, and having the beach walk in front of the unit was great. Our only major complaint was that the living room furniture, especially the couches was extremely uncomfortable.

The condo was very nice. The third floor climb after a full day of hiking and snorkeling got a little old, but so am I. The dishwasher door conflict with the cabinet drawer wasn't bad, but it wasn't good. The bed was comfortable and we appreciated the extra powder room. There were lots of staples and other good things in the kitchen and a wide selection of wine glasses.

You can't prevent the government of Hawaii from setting up a temporary shelter for people impacted by COVID (no longer there)? You can't provide my artisan Grey Poupon condiment in the room before my arrival?

Please don't listen to these Karens and snob Bob's leaving garbage reviews. This location is absolutely amazing, and the company managing them was responsive and accommodating in every way. I am staying here when I come back, simple as that.

Great updates and information before arrival followed by a quick check-in process. They even sent nice update mails about news in the area, such as a main road closure. The location is great because of the view and quiet area, but still close enough to walk to some of Kapaa's offerings. We enjoyed the access to several beaches and all the amenities included with the unit such as coolers and beach chairs.

We had a great experience at the Kaha Lani, as always. And unit 326 was everything we hoped for and needed. Beautiful views, comfortable layout, and many thoughtful extras like beach chairs, beach towels, and an extra set of sheets.

This place is really a sweet spot. It accommodated our little family of three perfectly with our daughter on the living room day bed and us in the one bedroom.
While it does not come with AC, we found that the trade winds helped to keep the place breezy and cool throughout our stay.
The rental was clean and equipped with all our needs both in the kitchen and for the beach...right down to a cooler and beach chairs and beach towels (thank you).
We loved the quiet off the main road location with nothing but roosters and sea in our front yard. A bonus was the walking path right in front of our condo which gave my husband a place to jog daily and me a walking path along the ocean. It was also a great location for us because we wanted to split our time between both the North and South sides of the island.
We'll definitely stay here again when we return to Kaui.

We woke early every morning to have mimosas while watching amazing sunrises. The unit is only steps from the Lydgate path which is a wide sidewalk that followed the beach for more than a mile up and down the coast. The path makes it easy to walk or bike to town for shopping or dining at excellent restaurants. The complex is bordered by a golf course on one side and a beautiful park on the other so is somewhat isolated from the other complexes in the area. We truly could not have been happier with the location. The unit was comfortable for 2-3 people. The unit did not have a/c but with the breeze coming through the windows and sliding glass doors, that was not a problem. The bedroom was in the back of the unit, but once the sun set, a fan was more than enough to keep things comfortable (we were there in April). The bed itself was comfortable and had nice, newer bed linens. It appears the bathrooms have been recently updated. The dining table was very nice and we found ourselves sitting there to read and play games on a regular basis. However, it appeared that they had combined furniture from two units. We would recommend they get rid of the “old white hotel furniture” as thIs would make the unit appear less cramped and cohesive. The kitchen was nicely stocked with kitchen equipment. There is a very nice laundry facility on site that is clean, modern and convenient.

This was our first trip to Kauai and it was a rainy one. Loved the convenience of on site laundry and access to walking path when it was to wet to hike.
Central location was perfect. View was beautiful and condo was nice and well equipped. Would rent again.

The rental property is exactly as it's described, and a perfect oasis. We spent a lot of time on the lanai and couldn't have been happier there! Our only complaint was the roosters crowing at all hours, but it didn't take too much away from the perfection of our stay.

The view and the sounds of the waves were magnificent. The property was very nice and the park area surrounding it made for a great place for a morning walk to enjoy the ocean views.

Very nice Apt., exactly as described and quite spacious. Views are wonderful. Well equipped kitchen, nice eating area, only the outside table is a bit rusty and needs replacement. Whole resort is well kept and very clean, nice pool with ample seating and deckchairs.

The unit was great - clean and as described. The grounds were well kept. I recommend downloading the app because it made the entire process so easy from check-in to check-out. We didn't have any issues or need to contact anyone during our stay, so I can't speak to that. I do wish the windows in the bedroom were a little more soundproof because the roosters could be heard at all hours of the day and night. With that being said, having a unit that overlooked the ocean with no other obstacles in the way and being able to listen to the waves was a treat (and I wish I was there now!). The location was perfect for the activities that we wanted to do because all sides of the island were accessible within a reasonable drive. I'm so happy we chose to stay in a condo because we cooked/ate all of our meals there, and we were able to do laundry in the Kaha Lani laundry facility. If I visit Kauai in the future, I would stay in this unit again.

Many thanks to Kaha Lani #326 we really enjoyed our week in Kauai. Condo on third floor walk-up was clean and had all we needed. Very comfy king bed, well equipped kitchen and bath + 1/2 bath. I love the paintings of flowers in LR - was the artist known? Fantastic view of the ocean and whales spouting. We had a lovely time and would definitelty consider staying here again.

We have stayed at Kaha Lani four time before and like it because we can walk in bare feet along the sand for miles towards the Airport at Lihue or the other way to Lidgate State Park and the sheltered pool to swim when it is too rough in the open ocean.

The location is perfect, it's close to everything, stores, day trips etc. yet it's very secluded and quiet. A beautiful position very relaxing everything that you may need for a trip to the beach is supplied, we took advantage of the beach chairs and umbrella numerous times.
Do not forget to put your parking pass on your car because they attach a warning for tow away very quickly, we asked at reception a question but because the unit is managed by different people the lady would not help was really rude and then asked if we were the smokers (I have never had a smoke in my life)
overall the accommodation is great the only thing that I think would have made it better would be air-conditioning

If you are booking through a private owner just make sure you read all the instructions that are given to you before you stay. In doing this you should not incur any issues with your stay. That being said, my stay was wonderful here. Each unit is a little different so you may not have the same experience. our unit was wonderful although some appliances and dcor was outdated and there was no a/c. But everything worked great and you didn't need a/c for the most part because of the great weather and good air flow through the windows. The owner made us feel at home and everything seemed very simple. There were great views from the balcony and it was close to beaches, stores and sites.

I have stayed in 326 several times. It is not in as good a condition as it had been in the past. Strange addition to furniture and the older furniture was a bit dirty or worn - not sure which. But this is a wonderful place and its location in the complex is great. Not a complaint just a heads up that it has gone down hill a bit.

It was perfect! Amazing! Our first time to Kauai and we would stay in this exact condo again if we return. Beautiful ocean view. We enjoyed eating breakfast each morning and watching the sunrise. Perfect central location on the island. One tiny incident was that the coffee maker didn't work when we went to make our coffee the first morning. I emailed the property management company and there was a new coffee maker in the unit by the time we returned from our hike that day. And it was even a Sunday! I was very impressed!

Unit 326 has an amazing oceanfront view. You can hear the waves crashing on the beach. My husband saw a stingray breeching from our balcony! It is very well appointed and has everything you could need. The grounds are impeccable as is the pool. Have stayed here at least 4 times and this is our favorite unit.

The location is great to allow full and easy access to the entire island if you rent a car. The only downside was that this unit was dated and needs to have the kitchen and bath areas in particular, updated.

Kaha Lani was beautiful. Great location, unbelievable view of the ocean just steps from the condo. Minutes from Kapaa and central to everywhere on the Island. Well appointed condo has everything you need. Very reasonable price and Comfortable beds too. The only downside is the bedroom can be a little warm at night, but really a minor inconvenience. Overall a great stay and we would stay again.

The unit was very spacious with 1.5 baths and naturally lighted by the wide sliding doors and long glass windows from the living room and kitchen to the balcony. The view of the waves and palm trees couldn't be any better from the living room, kitchen and balcony. A quick walk across the green well maintained lawn garden and you are at the sandy beach. Can hear the waves all day long from this unit. There is no AC but the trade wind also does a very good job at keeping you comfortable. The location quietly is tucked away between the beach and highway (no neighboring resorts) and is close to stores, shops, restaurants.

It was just like Paradise to us. (We also love seeing those cute roosters, hens and chicks that you would find all over the Hawaiian islands.)

We can't wait to come back here again!

We loved this condo. It was a perfect "home" for all our adventures on the island with a short drive to any side. We also loved having the state park with a swimming area just down the path, and a pool for days when we wanted to relax. The condo was well appointed with everything we needed and more - including a cooler and beach chairs. And you can't beat the view. We were a little nervous we would be hot without AC but the breeze kept us very comfortable and on some nights we even shut the doors because it got too chilly! Highly recommend this unit and will recommend it to friends and family.
