Perfect location for going north, south or just next door at Lydgate! Bath and bedroom could be larger, a bit cramped. A more comfortable chair (recliner?) would be nice. We've booked a slightly larger unit in the same resort for next year.

We loved this property! It was perfect for my husband and I. The property had everything you need: the kitchen had all the gadgets and tools, the bed was comfy. The property manager was very attentive and checked in throughout our stay.
The beach is beautiful and most of time, it was just us out there. We enjoyed the pool and walking around.
The location is perfect, just a short drive into Kapa'a to get anything we needed.
The gentleman, Steve, who did security on the property in the evenings, is the the property's best ambassador. Steve was so kind and helpful; and we enjoyed chatting with him.

This property has it all. We had an excellent experience, the unit had everything we needed. The kitchen had all the necessities, we just had to get food. It's a short walk to the beautiful beach, where we spent most of our days. Most of the time, we had it to ourselves. The water is wonderful. The unit was comfortable and spacious. The bed was so comfortable, we slept well all week. The property manager checked in with us throughout our stay and we appreciated that. We met Steve, who works as security for the property. He as charming, helpful and so adorable. Great ambassador for the property. We would definitely go back and recommend to all of our family and friends. :)

Unit 121 was ocean front! We were pleased to see it was stocked with many essentials upon arrival.(toilet paper, paper towels, salt and pepper etc...)Check in and out was very easy. We really liked the location on the east side making it easy to drive north or south. We we disappointed with the cleanliness of the unit when we arrived particularly the bathroom and kitchen. We stayed for 9 nights and there were not enough linens for 9 nights! 1 kitchen dishcloth? 2 washcloths and 2 bath towels per person is not enough for 9 nights. An extra set of sheets would be nice for the guest for even if you are careful, sand gets in the sheets when you are beach front! The ceiling fans do not seem to have a high and don’t move much air. Maintenance may want to take a look at them.

The breeze coming off the water, picturesque views, relaxing and safe area are among many reasons to choose this VRBO. Central location makes it perfect to get to many areas of interest on the island. Bed and liens are comfortable. Kitchen is perfect for cooking breakfast, lunch or dinner. Back side of condo opens with sweeping views of the ocean. The waves crash peacefully over the sand. If the clouds allow, you can see sunrise from your own back patio. Breathtakingly Beautiful!!!

Spent a week at the Kaha Lani condo. Great location for seeing the entire island. Loved the view and ability to walk to Lydgate for swimming/snorkeling with our 11 year old daughter. It was quite hot/humid during our stay and A/C would have been appreciated but we were able to make due to the provided fans. Communication was very prompt. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Appreciated the beach chairs and umbrella provided. Overall a wonderful stay and we would return in a heartbeat!

There are many options on the island. If you would like to wake up to the ocean, be centrally located and want a home like few to come back to each night; this is the right place for you!!! If vacationing means plush hotels, updated fixtures, and a cocktail hour keep looking. My 16 year old son and I enjoyed our time in this condo, it can get a bit warm but we were usually gone during the day so it was fine. The breeze at night and view in the morning reminded us we were in paradise!! Be sure to rent a car if you’d like to explore the island on your own. Tip: buy the Shaka guide app!! Amazing, we felt like locals and saw so much of the island we wouldn’t have normally been aware of. Great stay and we’d do it again without hesitation!

Communication was exceptional. I knew well in advance all the check in and final closure instructions. Unit was well stocked with cooking and kitchen materials. Only things I would change is the fan in bathroom ( extremely loud) and curtains in main room ( dreary looking)

Great little condo a little disappointed that the chairs provided were broken and rusted I scraped my leg on a sharp piece of the chair. Umbrella provided was broken as well. Everything else in apartment was comfortable and nice. There are a lot of chickens and a cat that are very friendly. A little disappointed complex did not have hot tub and beach area outside of Condo were not kid friendly.

KHL121 was great! This is our second time staying at this property but in a different unit.

We love this location with the beach and beachfront pathway right at our door. This is the perfect spot to access Wailua, Kapa'a, Lihu'e and the rest of island. We would highly recommend paddling the Wailua River (kayak or SUP) and eating at the Ono Family Restaurant in Kapa'a. Happy hour at Brenneke's in Poipu is fun as are the various farmers' markets around the island.

We did not miss having AC; it was very comfortable with the ocean breezes and fans provided. The king bed and sofa bed were both very comfortable. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. one minor inconvenience was the lack of places to hang things - using the bedroom closet was awkward with the cabinet taking up some much space and there were only a few hooks to hang towels, jackets, etc. We enjoyed having a hard cooler and beach chairs for our day trips away from the unit but it would have been nice to have some other beach items like an umbrella and maybe one boogie board.

We had an issue during our stay where we had no hot water but the management company was very quick to resolve the problem. Mahalo!

We would recommend this unit to family and friends, and hope to return to Kaha Lani Resort in the future.

Enjoyed the ocean view. The breeze helped with cooling the condo with ceiling fans and box fan. First experience with contra flow was a little surprising. In the mornings orange cones were used on Hwy 56 to create two lanes going south from Kapaa.

My husband and I traveled to Kauai for our 10th anniversary. We thought Kaha Lani was a great location. You have the North and South shore easily accessible. Lots of great hikes close by, the Wailua river is great for SUPing. We really enjoyed the patio and all the chickens and kitties that would come to visit (all very friendly).

Such an amazing view every day, all day. Next to Lydgate Park, this place truly has everything. Long sandy beaches that are uncrowded, petroglyphs, hiking, shopping. The path that runs through Kapa’a is great for walking, even better if you had a bike! The unit was clean, fairly updated, and had snorkeling equipment, beach chairs, a well stocked kitchen, etc. The check-in and check-out could not have been easier. I plan on returning!

My wife and I wanted to take one final flying vacation before our baby arrives. Why not choose a Hawaiian island. Unit 21 was chosen for the fact it was a ground unit within walking steps to the un-crowded beach. The condo came with all the necessary beach supplies, boogie boards, chairs, coolers and umbrellas. We had a amazing time and spent days exploring the island a night lounging on the patio.
There is no AC but plenty of fans to help circulates the ocean breeze.

I chose this place based on access to all the other areas we wanted to visit. I also wanted ground floor as I wanted easy access to the lawn and outside. This is a small place but we found room for our stuff and we are both pretty low maintenance as far as bathroom counter space. The kitchen is very well supplied with pots and pans and dishware, etc. The Foodland and Safeway are just a few minutes into Kapa'a. This particular condo is away from the noise of the pool. There is a lovely walkway that goes the length of Lydgate park and beach. There are, as everywhere on the Island, chickens and cats. We enjoyed their company. There is a TV in the bedroom as well as the living room, which we used to stream Pandora. The view from the lanai is breathtaking. This is a great spot. It is on our list of places we would return to.

GREAT location, very private, with a beautiful oceanfront view. This is a super location for families as Lydgate beach is a 5 min walk away. Its also right on the walking\bike path. We have been coming to Kaha Lani for several yrs & really enjoy this location, its pretty central for driving to both north & south destinations.
A very safe area, off the main highway, security patrolled in the evening & overnite hours, good large parking lot, well maintained grounds.

Unit is well equipped, very comfortable, however its really only a two person unit, it would not be good for families. Close to Kapa'a grocery stores(traffic thru Kapa'a can be very bad in afternoons, take the Wailua bypass) & amenities, lots of places to eat out if that your thing. & close to the many daily farmer's markets.

The pool at KHL is great also. The laundry machines are operated now by credit cards (which being Canadians) we dont like due to the exchange.

LOTS to see & do on Kaua'i - an absolute must see is the Waimea canyon, its an all day trip, about an hour's drive to Waimea from KHL, views going up the mountain are spectacular, try to pick a cloudless day to go as when there are clouds over the mountains it can be wet up there.
Super snorkelling at both Lawa'i & Poipu beaches in the south.
& the bike path is great, runs from KHL up to Anahola about 7 1\2 miles, rent bikes in Kapa'a
& go for a 2 hour ride, views are spectacular & you wont regret it.

Garden Island Rentals is great, anytime we have had a problem in the Unit they look after it virtually immediately, we have never had an issue with them.

We look forward to returning to Kaua'i & KHL each yr!

The instructions were great and the location is perfect. Close to everything.
The unit itself needs work. The bed spread in the bedroom smelled like mildew.
The couch in the living room was very uncomfortable and cushions smelled awful.One corner was ripped.The couch has rust on the metal parts and it made our sheets dirty.
The plants outside were covered with white aphids and they were all over the furniture and our stuff, got in our food too.
Kitchen was great plenty utensils. The pans were scratched badly and food was sticking all the time.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Kaha Lani. It was a nice quiet location with a beautiful view and great amenities. Very close to lots of the tours and activities we had scheduled while on Kauai. My husband and I especially enjoyed sitting out on the lanai and watching the ocean while sipping on a glass of wine!

We had a nice stay. We were on ground floor and very close to beach. The condo comes fully equipped kitchen, lawn chairs, mats for beach, etc. We talked with person which had cleaned our condo. I forget her name (blonde peppy gal) was really nice, gave us a lot of info about restaurants, etc. She was so helpful.

This is the second time we have rented this unit. Location location location. The unit is well stocked with all the utensils and some condiments. The patio furniture is nice and the bed very comfortable. It could use a little updating especially the bathtub but all in all a nice, comfortable place to stay.

This one bedroom rental seemed to be much smaller than several other one bedroom units I visited. We were in the middle of the building, while the other ones I visited were on the ends. It's not a complaint, just a observation. We enjoyed our stay on the first floor-just had to walk out to the grass!!

The unit was quiet and set back from the main road to Kapa enough that there was no traffic noise. Location and sunrises are great. King bed was comfortable. Plan to return to Kaha Lani in Spring and rent a larger unit with my golf buddies. The adjacent golf course is cheap and better than some high price private courses. PS. The roosters and stray cats are very friendly and will enter downstairs condos if you leave your screen door open.

The property was more than what we expected in location! Facility was like being at home. All amenities were there that we needed. We definitely will be back next year, kitchen was well stocked with everything if you wanted to cook. Ocean right in front of you. Yes, I would recommend to friends. Property clean and only other item might be more fans since nonairconditioining. It was very hot but we knew it would be. Maybe two more big fan needed. .

We were here for 11 days and enjoyed every minute of our time in unit #121. Being able to spend every morning on the patio with coffee and breakfast was a real pleasure. The unit had beach towels, pool noodles, and a beach chair. All pleasant surprises. Kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed. Some staples in kitchen left from previous guests were helpful. Fabulous views, great pool, beautifully maintained property. Two suggestions for the owner: while the unit was very clean, it may be time for some deep cleaning - kitchen cupboard knobs were sticky and a bit crusty. Bathtub had some soap residue. Neither a deal breaker.

The only other issue was loud neighbors above us - a child running back and forth frequently. Called Garden Isle Management; no response to voicemail and the problem continued throughout our stay.

Loved the property over all with no significant complaints at all. Would stay again in a heartbeat in this unit.

Our stay at the Kaha Lani #121 was very nice. The apartment is equipped with all you need, including a completely equipped kitchen. What you see on the pictures is what you get.
We loved the fact, that this unit is one of closest to the beach, so you really could hear and see the waves - perfect. The sleeping room is to the side of the parking lot. therefore you hear neighbours walking or talking - but nothing that bothered too much. We would rent this unit again.

We completely enjoyed our stay here. The property is beautiful, the view was awesome. Nice breeze that cooled the unit. The unit was very well-stocked. I have stayed in other condos and there was not even salt-and-pepper. There was salt pepper spices paper plates a lot of Extras. We will definitely stay again.

The property location and setting was wonderful. The close proximity to Lydgate beach and terrific swim area was thoroughly enjoyed. Being able to watch sunrise and have coffee on the lanai was perfect! The overall location on the island made it easy to explore both the north and south areas as well as Kapaa.

This is a GREAT location away from the traffic in Kapa'a (yes it can be bad most of the day especially in the afternoon)close to Lihue(4 mins from Airport)& the south coast amenities.
Kaha Lani is well looked after, the grounds are are superb, the cleaning is professional & in the event you might have any problems Garden Island Properties is excellent & very efficient in solving the problem. We have rented with them several times now & would have absolutely NO hesitation in employing &recommending their excellent services. We have booked for 2018. Unit 121 is perfect for two people with an excellent ocean view, very close to the popular bike/walking path that extends up island.

Our condo was extremely close to the ocean and we could sit on the 1st floor lanai, listening to the waves and drinking our coffee each morning. We walked the path to Lydgate park/beach almost every day and the beach there was great!
The kitchen was very well equipped, with newer appliances. Everything worked well, except for the bedroom ceiling fan! With no A/C, this was a minor problem, with bedroom being away from those ocean breezes.

This property was well equipped and clean. The views were nice and I never felt like I was in a condo. Only downside is no A/C and this place does get hot even with the ocean breeze.

Location couldn't have been better. Ocean front, cool breezes and the constant sound of waves. The unit was great. Well equipped and clean except for the shower curtain. Would love to stay here again.

Great view and outdoor seating to enjoy it. Cooking facilities were good, except stove burners may not be the right ones and not level. Décor for us a bit dark and dated. other guests allow wind to slam doors too much, otherwise noise not too bad. Parking great. Kaha lani staff are great. location is fantastic. Beautiful pool that we did not use. Beach is great for walks and swimming. Grounds are well cared for. Security, well it does feel safe, and kids play freely on the massive lawn area. Plenty of good eating places within 15 minutes. You must have a car

The unit was well maintained and included basic kitchen and beach necessities. It was well decorated, very comfortable, and had a great view. A couple mornings we experienced noise from the parking lot and upstairs neighbors, but overall the facility was quiet. We spent time on two other islands, and enjoyed Kauai and this rental the most.
