Kapaa Shore Resort A309, Oceanfront

Everything was as promoted. Our view of ocean was excellent. High tide is best as beach is rocky. Third floor is nice for best views and quiet times for those that handle stairs well, and these were easily navigated. It would be difficult to say any thing negative unless you lie like certain orange skinned politicians.

We had a wonderful 4 night stay at the Kapaa Shore Resort unit A309. The location was very convenient to beautiful beaches, restaurants and shopping. The lanai was a perfect, peaceful place to watch the sunrise each morning, the unit was clean and had everything we needed. Thank you!!

We had two condos in the C building and everything exceeded my expectations. The condos were clean and modern. The kitchens were very well equipped.
Property management was very responsive to any concern. Would love to stay here again.

The view was amazing but the condo itself needed some work. The outside balcony light was hanging by the wires, the loft windows leaked when it rained,
and couldn't use the ceiling fan in the living room due to water in the fan housing.

Beautiful ocean view, comfortable furniture, & full of amenities. Convenient location to visit Ho'opi'i Falls, Hanalei Bay, Poipu Beach & many other amazing locations.

We loved our stay at Kapa’a Shore Resort! The location is perfect—right at the beginning of the beautiful Ke Ala Hele Makalae Path for beachside walks and bike rides. Easy day trip access to Kauai’s south shore and north shore, plus the airport is 15 minutes away. Walking distance to main strip of Kapa’a shops and restaurants. Property is beautiful and well-maintained. Nice pool, hot tub and lounge chairs. The condo had everything we needed for light meals at home. Plenty of beach and bath towels for the two of us. Reliable wifi and entertainment options. Comfortable beds and pillows. Falling asleep in the loft bed to the sound of the ocean each night was a dream. Only con was short staffing during our stay in Sept. 2023, resulting in the pool and hot tub closing two hours early on a few nights. We had an amazing time and look forward to staying at Kapa’a Shore Resort in the future.

Good location, nice amenities, only real problem was noisy roofing work that I was told about just hours before I arrived - this work lasted over a week. I was offered a small courtesy refund for the inconvenience. Grounds were well kept, pool and hot tub were very clean, beach towels and chairs supplied were very appreciated. Stacking washer/dryer were very small, dryer was almost useless, even with very small load. Porch was large enough to accommodate 4 adults enjoying the view.

Great rental from location to cleanliness. Awesome to hear the waves bounding on the shoreline . The view was awesome. Watching the sunrise reminded me again of the beauty of God’s creation and our responsibility to protect it. Would definitely rent again. Suggest having a Keurig coffeemaker maker.

Great place to stay. All was exactly as represented online. We only had one inconvenience of a poorly functioning washer and dryer. Beautiful ocean view and ocean breezes. Quiet and relaxing. Shops and restaurants nearby.

My husband and I shared the condo with our daughter and son in law. We were spending time together. They live in Georgia and we live in Wisconsin. The condo had ocean views, so we watched sun up every morning. We went on several hikes and the central location was great!!

This was the most perfect little condo for our family of 5. The most stunning view from the lanai, starting at dawn with a beautiful sunrise. And you can hear the ocean waves all night long. There is no A/C but the cross breeze there cools you off naturally so you absolutely don’t need it. The kitchen was fully stocked with all you need to cook while you visit. Super convenient to have washer and dryer in the unit. And 10 out of 10 for the location! Centrally located so you can head up north easily one day and be down south the next. Plus Safeway is right across the street. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. And the managers respond quickly to any questions you may have. Would 100% love to stay here again. I may have to… I think I left my heart there! Mahalo!!!

Beautiful unit! Very comfortable. I LOVED being able to feel the trade air winds and listen to the ocean waves at night, I would love to bottle that up and bring it home.
We snorkeled at Poipu beach, FYI at first didn't see alot of fish, went in again saw all kind of fish. We seen turtles and a Monk seal there as well.
Hawaii tour helicopter-Blue Hawaiian to see waterfalls, Waimea canyon, Napali cost.
Smith luau. Catamaran sunset Napali cost. So much more! We were able to do all this because this unit was affordable.

Perfect location! The pictures of the ocean view from the property are actually accurate. We visited in May and could watch the sunrise from the balcony and leave the balcony door open at night to fall asleep to the sounds of the waves crashing (there is a screen door on the balcony to keep the bugs out).

Amazing property and location! Super clean, exactly as described. Very impressed, would book this unit again. Best view ever! Loved having washer/dryer; I was able to take half the clothes and do laundry 1/2 way thru my stay. Great water pressure in the showers and very comfortable beds!

We wanted a condo in Kapaa due to its proximity to both ends of the island (knowing this section of beach is not great for swimming). The complex is in great condition and unit 309 was as well. Unit had everything 2 couples needed for vacation. Thank you Garden Islands and the owners of the unit. Easy reservation process, easy communication.
