Loved it, nothing to complain about at all! Spacious, clean, modern, well equipped, excellent beds, great pool facilities, magical morning views of the ocean, peaceful, close to shops, friendly roosters! What more can I ask for? If we can, we would definitely stay again 10/10!

Great location, in the the midst of it all. The host were super responsive with any questions. Walking distance into town or you’ll find easy parking. They were able to accommodate myself family of 5, the place is just as you see it. Would definitely recommend…5 STARS!!!!

We are very happy with this place. Walkable to coconut marketplace and longs drugs , enjoyed the beach right across for sunrise and sunset walks and there's a swimmable beach along the way . Super tolle Unterkunft. Lage zentral auf der Insel, um sowohl in den Norden als auch in den Süden zu fahren. Supermarkt gleich um die Ecke. Der Strand ist nicht wirklich toll, macht aber nichts da Kauai eh viele andere wunderschöne Strände zu bieten hat. Ideal hierfür ist das die Unterkunft Sonnenschirm, Strandstühle und Kühltasche zur Verfügung stellt. Waschen für 1.50 pro Wäsche, top! Unterkunft ist schön groß und geräumig. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt.

Terrific and convenient location. Close to Wailua and Kapa’a but quiet street and neighborhood. Unit has beach chairs, umbrella, boogie board and toys pack and play. Great host, great place, great experience. We are avid travelers and have used many different solutions for housing. Some good and others not. This rental was the very thing we hoped it to be. The pictures don’t necessarily capture how good the property is. It is spacious and comfortable. The host was also very helpful with a couple of special requests that we had.

We loved our first visit to Kauai. Kanani's place was in the middle of the island and was Perfect for my husband and I. The beach chairs, beach umbrella and cooler were great and we used it when we went to the beach. Coconut Marketplace an outdoor shopping mall with restaurants is a quick 5-10 min walk from the condo. We enjoyed the free hula show. Make sure to check their website with their calendar of events. The check in and out process was easy and clear. We hope to be back soon.

The unit was clean and nicely equipped and furnished. Really nice that this was an end unit. The entire property had 3 separate pools and was disappointed to see 1 of the 2 hot tubs 'out of service' and the 2nd one might as well have been as the whirlpool switch was very finicky and did not work half the time. Property management insisted that the second hot tub was working, which was not correct. We were right across the street next to a field that had to be crossed to get to the beach/ocean and once you got there, the beach was not swimmable as the water was very rough and the beach rocky. The field was very much in need of a cleanup (trash) as well. We found that locals would drive their cars/trucks to the edge of the beach for easy access for fishing. Besides being on the east side of the island not having sunsets available, the location was great, centrally located on the east side, with easy access to the south end and north end. Easy access to Kappa was a plus as well and 10 minutes from the airport. The bed and living furniture's were very comfortable and quiet. A couple more luggage stands would have been beneficial. Unit also came with a couple beach chairs which was a huge plus for when we did go the calmer beaches close by (a short drive). We cooked out one night at the pool and the grill was lovely, clean and in great working order. Walking access to the Coconut Market was also great. Careful with those heavy suitcases as there are no elevators and there was no ice maker in the unit’s refrigerator, so we found ourselves constantly making ice by filling ice trays. Parking was very convenient, but the use of a community laundry room was not ideal. Overall, I gave it a ‘4’ rating from a comfort, location, and cleanliness standpoint.

j16 close to beach ,restaurants , cvs food land and Safeway , all walkable.the suites location allows view of ocean and enjoyment of the ocean breeze if you can overlook the ghetto wall. The suite also fronts a street that is quite a drag strip ...noisy and smelly .The toilet is uncleanable , cleaned it over 15 times and ended up spraying with Clorox bleach after EVERY use. Sofa is shot ..had to move chair from bed room or else you sat on the bars coming through . Unit may be suitable for 5 to6 days but at present not good for longer periods as there is no cupboard space.The island is beautiful but the above took a lot of the glow off the vacation . Been coming to the islands since 1973 and I don't consider myself a complainer but when you lay out 11 k
Canadian for 6 weeks you expect a certain level of accommodation and its just not here.

Such a fun little place to stay. My family of three stayed here for ten days. We really enjoyed where it was located. It is near a small market store and many good restaurants and grocery stores. It is also close to a nice small shopping district. The complex has three pools and two hot tubs which all the units share so most of the time we had a whole pool and hot tub to ourself. The actual unit itself is a bit dated with older amenities and kitchen supplies. The bathroom shower was the only thing that kind of bugged me because the shower floor would flex under your weight (I weigh 100lbs). Otherwise the bed was comfortable and they provided towels, beach towels, coolers, beach chairs, and other fun things to borrow. It being a end unit made it very easy to access with parking as well as trash and recycling disposal close by. We would definitely stay here again. Kauai is my favorite Island because it’s fairly quiet especially in summer and this little rental made it feel like home.

We spent three weeks in this condo and would honestly recommend it to others. The unit was clean with a very comfortable bed? (so important!). The grounds and pool area were immaculate and staff so friendly.

The location was fantastic and we felt very fortunate to discover this after a few days, as you never really know until there.

If there is anything to improve the only thing is the bbq's were not functional and the kitchen could have used a casserole dish.

We loved Kauai and this is the place to stay!

Five stars all around. That being said Its not a five star accommodation in the usual regard as Hawaii condo properties tend to be a little dated and underwhelming compared to a 5 star hotel in Vegas (for instance). With this in mind, this place was everything we expected it to be and more. Nice touches like a cooler and beach chairs added to our stay. There is a fence between you and the beach but you can hear the ocean waves from the bedroom and its a quick walk to the water (not a swimming beach in the winter). Everything was smooth and easy. Property staff were helpful and nice. The unit was clean, as pictured and had zero bugs. This was a great spot to explore the island from.

Good email communication, easy instructions, efficient process. Shower control handle could use an upgrade/sliding glass doors difficult to move/kitchen utensils and cookware along cooking spices were nice but supplies (paper towels, detergent, toilet paper were not enough for 12 night stay/need outlets available in lamps/beach towels and chairs were nice.

I like this corner unit, which has more light. This is a very quiet complex. I never heard neighbors, traffic, nothing. Air conditioning and Wifi work great. Love the black out curtains in the bdrm. The couch which converts isnt your typical sleeper couch- much more comfortable, and comes w extra padding. We had 1 thing that wasn't working, and mgmt right away replaced. My only suggestion would be plusher towels, and 1 extra set of bedsheets (comes w 1 for each sleeping scenario). The very large open field across the road, the view outside, still hasn't changed. Who knows when they'll ever begin construction. Since you're upstairs, you look right over the wall built, and can see ocean in the distance.
Rec'd: best nearby swimming- walk past Lava Lava Beach Club Restaurant (also rec.), thru trees to Lae Nani condo property. addit., they also have protected swim area for young children. Other food rec'd: Sleeping Giant Grill (entrance of Aston Islander), amazing fresh fish. The Street Burgers. Bar Acuda, Hanalei (must have reservation). Other fav beach- Anini Beach, safe to swim and pretty decent snorkeling, lots of shade too. Buy a boogie board at Walmart, and you're good to go!

The unit J16 -- spacious with a comfortable bed, sofa, and pillows (the best one I ever tried), private and quiet end unit on top floor, clean, strong wifi connection,extremely well-equipped/generously supplied, conveniently located and reasonably priced -- was a perfect treat for us. Unfortunately, we didn't use the swimming pool and hot tub, but they look very clean and inviting. The management (Kanani & Sue) is very friendly, helpful, reliable and personable.

To the management:
I hope the owner is willing to invest in a new carpet and replacements for the little puddings on the counter stools ... and if possible, a low-flow kind to conserve water.

We had a great stay at J16 for one week. The place was very clean and well stocked with "extras." We especially appreciated all the items for the beach. The kitchen even had salt and pepper along with very sufficient pots/pans and utensils. Also surprised
to see a magnified "older" eyes appreciated that! You were still able to see the ocean from the room but it appears there is a resort who will be building beach front so that view may disappear in the future. The bed was also very comfortable. Cannot comment
on the pool because our days were busy elsewhere and we never had the opportunity to use them. The location is ideal....about halfway between northern coast and southern coast. Would definitely stay there again.

The Title says it all. A little dissapointed having the wall between our room and the ocean. Being on the 2nd floor was very helpful. Had a good meal at Oasis On The Beach. Kauai is an amazing place.

We recently stayed in unit J16. It was close to the pool and had an ocean view. I wish there would have been a BBQ grill at the pool. The unit was clean and well equipped with everything from beach towels, chairs, and coolers, to a full kitchen with spices and tin foil, etc. We spent our time snorkeling. Plantation Hale is about halfway drive from Poipu and the North Shore. Hope to return again.

My husband and I stayed at J16 Plantation Hale last week. We enjoyed the condo and all that was provided. The bed is very comfortable! Lawn chairs and coolers a plus. The condo is on the older side and some things show wear but it was clean and had everything needed for our stay. The two negatives were the black wall fence separating the condo from the beach and the construction at Coconut Marketplace also surrounded by a black wall fence. These two things made it seem we were staying in a construction zone.

We had a very positive experience!! The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. I didn't like the wall across the street that blocked our view if the ocean... But I'm sure that was out of your control. We had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay!!

Had a lovely time! Condo met all our needs, was very clean, and had all the things we needed to make our stay enjoyable! Three pools to choose from, a place to lock up our bikes we rented for the week, and right near the bike/ running trail! Beach chairs made our beach visits that much more enjoyable! Apartment is excellent. Location is, amenities in this condominium and all settings inside were perfect for us. Owners are very thoughtful about their guests. We found everything we needed: food supplements and all supplies, beach chairs, beach umbrella. Apartment is nicely furnished, quiet, and private. We will be happy to stay again. Lovely course sand but lots of rocks. Love the Kauai Island. Less tourists and traffic than Honolulu!! This is a great central location and enjoyed day drives to each side of island. Would not hesitate to stay again at this lovely condo.

This is our second time renting a condo in Plantation Hale. We checked in very late ( around 11.00pm ) and the office staff was available to look after our needs. The condo was very good except that we were able to see a few cockroaches in the night. Other than this we enjoyed our stay. Our only request is that the check out time be extended to at least 2.00pm since all the departing flights are late in the evenings.

Great stay! We enjoyed every moment of it. The unit is very clean and comfortable. There are 2 a/c units ( in the living room and the bedroom). The kitchen has everything you need. We really enjoyed the nespresso machine. You can purchase extra pods in any grocery store. Safeway was the closest. The swimming pool is just behind the building and the beach literally across the street. The location of the unit is fantastic! Some great restaurants are just withing walking distance as well as a little plaza with shops and little cafes. No parking issues or any other issues really. Every day was a great day! Definitely will stay here again!

J8 is a short walk to the Coconut Market Place for an awesome market, restaurants, and shops. the condo is cute, clean, and well stocked with plenty of linens and beach necessities. AC works great! J8 sits right at the walking path and is a short walk to the water. this is not a swimming beach, nice for walks and beautiful sunrises. Even being on the path, never had a bit of noise. Washer & dryer on site, for a small fee. Garden Island was always quick to answer questions, they are a pleasure to work with. Convenient to drive to the North and South shores for the day! I have to say everything was perfect.

We loved our stay here! It was in such a nice spot with the coconut marketplace less than a 2 minute walk with so many great spots to eat! We felt very safe here and Kanani was very responsive to any questions we had!! We loved having access to the grills! The beach that is right in front of the condo is nice for walking but not for swimming! We fit 4 people in here comfortably (2 in the room, 2 on the pullout in the living room), we knew we wouldn’t spend too much time in the Airbnb because we were so busy exploring every day!! We absolutely loved Kauai and this place.

The condo is exactly as described online. It is located in a great spot within the condo property. We often got to park our car directly out the front door of our condo. It is a corner unit and is right by one of the pools. Pools were clean - didn’t use hot tub or laundry room. The kitchen is beautiful and fully equipped with anything you may need. Beach chairs & ice chest was a nice amenity - and nice beach towels. The king bed is comfy and all the furniture is really nice. Check-in was so easy and we loved having a door key pad so there was no key to keep up with. The Coconut Marketplace was a five minute walk from condo - the ABC Store had a good selection of snacks and grab and go meals, as well as a good menu of hot meals as well. The beach is a quick five minute walk across the street. It’s a nice, rustic beach with some shade trees along the banks. We spent a good deal of time walking the trail and beach in that area. You will be pleased with this place - a great value.

We stayed here for a week and thought the space was convenient, as-described, and centrally located on Kauai. The bed was incredibly comfortable - we slept great! It was convenient to have the kitchen, which had plenty of supplies. The location is also good - a short walk to the beach or nearby shops and restaurants, and a quick 10-30 min drive to most spots on the island. We had a few questions for the hosts and they were always prompt and helpful in their responses. Overall, a good experience!

We had a very nice stay at the Plantation Hale! The unit was clean and included beach amenities as well as yoga mats. The location is well situated between the North and South shores so it's great if you're planning to explore a lot of the island. It contained everything we needed, including an iron and ironing board, beach towels, yoga mats, beach chairs, a beach umbrella, an ice chest, and all appliances we needed. The location was impeccable! We walked to the Coconut Marketplace several times and strolled along the beach just across the street. It's also very close to the airport, the Nepali Coast, Poipu, and plenty of shops and restaurants. The bed and sofa bed were very comfortable. There was a bit of a musty smell whenever you walked into the unit but it went away after a couple minutes and we didn't notice it. The place is very clean so it's probably dampness from the weather. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kanani's place and would highly recommend to others! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

I had a wonderful stay at this property. Perfectly walkable to the coconut marketplace for basic provisions and souvenirs. Comfy bed, Loved the robes provided. The kitchen had everything you could need. Gorgeous sunrises just steps from my lanai. I will absolutely book this unit again on my next trip to Kauai. Mahalo!

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The location was central to both sides of the island. We didn’t spend time at the nearby beach but we did visit a nearby beach that was family-friendlier. We enjoyed walking to the nearby shopping center and the farmer’s market.

This place was incredible for our first time on the island. A very comfortable king bed with air conditioning in the bedroom made for a perfect reprieve from all of the outdoor adventuring we did during the day. The location was incredibly convenient to get to everywhere we needed to go within an hour, especially for busy days that started early and ended late. One of the biggest perks of the unit was the chairs, umbrella, and cooler that allowed us to settle in and enjoy every beach that caught our eye. 10/10 would recommend, especially with a host as responsive and friendly as Kanani! We will forever be wishing we were back on Kauai starting every beautiful day in this spot.

We had a great stay in Kauai! Kanani’s place worked out well for us. It’s a good central location if you are planning to visit both sides of the island. We appreciated the beach towels, chairs, ice chest, etc. We weren’t traveling with children, but there were also sand toys and a boogie board available to take to the beach. We were three adults and we fit well. We appreciated being able to walk to the nearby market and also to the beach. Thanks for a great stay!
